Anti-Phosphatidyl Serine IgG/IgM

Anti-Phosphatidyl Serine IgG/IgM is an ELISA test for the quantitative determination of IgG and IgM antibodies against phosphatidyl serine in human serum or plasma.

Phosphatidyl serine antibodies are associated with antiphospholipid syndrome. Anti-cardiolipin and antibodies against phosphatidyl serine do not always appear together. When APS is suspected and anti-cardiolipin is absent, a further test for autoantibodies against phosphatidyl serine is particularly recommended. In addition to the antigen, the wells of the ORGENTEC Anti-Phosphatidyl-Serine tests are coated with human beta-2-glycoprotein I as cofactor.
