The Children’s Cancer Aid of Mainz: Research for Cure!

We at ORGENTEC Diagnostika have always felt strongly committed to promoting medical research projects in the Mainz region. As part of our commitment, we support the Children’s Cancer Aid of Mainz, thus providing targeted funding for research projects conducted by the children’s cancer ward at the Mainz academic teaching hospital’s centre for paediatric care. This way, we contribute to a constant improvement in the way these young patients are cared for. We at ORGENTEC are convinced that research helps to cure.
The Children’s Cancer Aid of Mainz The Children’s Cancer Aid of Mainz was founded by paediatricians of the centre for paediatric care at the Mainz academic teaching hospital in collaboration with other medical doctors active in an academic setting in Mainz as well as scientists of the Johannes Gutenberg University. This non-profit organisation’s mission is to ensure the best possible care for children afflicted with cancer, as well as for their families. It is particularly dedicated to advancing research for the sake of improving therapy options and ultimately increasing the chances of curing cancer in children and adolescents. Charity Golf Tournament Apart from our financial contribution, we also support the Children’s Cancer Aid of Mainz by generating awareness. We organise events such as our charity golf tournament at the ORGENTEC golf course in Budenheim near Mainz (visit the website of the Mainz golfing club) with the objective of increasing the support base for the Children’s Cancer Aid of Mainz – support well-employed to promote scientific research and new therapy approaches, and to take full advantage of any chance there is to help the diseased children.
