Anti-Lactoferrin
Anti-Lactoferrin is an ELISA-based, automated in-vitro test system for the quantitative determination of IgG antibodies against lactoferrin in human serum or plasma.
Autoantibodies against lactoferrin are classed as pANCA. They are often found in cases of inflammatory rheumatic and gastrointestinal autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid vasculitis, ulcerative colitis, and primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC).
The Anti-Lactoferrin ELISA from ORGENTEC allows for the quantitative serological detection of these autoantibodies for the clarification of negative proteinase-3 (PR3) and myeloperoxidase (MPO) ANCA results.
